Wednesday we tried in vain to sleep in again but failed so we decided to find the Asian Street Markets in downtown Sydney. We had heard about them when we were in Sydney the first time but didn't make it out there. I was glad because my bag would have been loaded down with souvenirs for the whole trip rather than the few days before I went home. There was so much to look at and buy there. It was a lot of fun. Haggling was my favorite part. We ate lunch at a place called Mad Mex's which was delicious and a good preview of what was to come at home.
Wednesday night the professors took us out on a riverboat cruise as a celebration for the great trip and a nice low-keyed way to end the trip. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a delicious buffet with all kinds of surf and turf options that I ate way too much of. We ended the night with a drink on the top deck enjoying the views of nighttime Sydney and reminiscing on stories from the trip. Just hard to get over that those stories happened just a few weeks ago when it feels like a year ago. This has turned into a trip that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I am so grateful that I was given an opportunity to come here and enjoy the down under experience. Thanks so much to my family and grandmother who made it possible for me to come here and encouraged me to make the most out of my trip. I love y'all.
