Day 18: The Great Ocean Road

Today was amazing. We woke up real early on Saturday morning and hopped on our chartered bus, a 21-passenger manual drive van with high ceilings and a hired driver, and proceeded with a 3-hour ride to some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen in my entire life. We traveled down the Great Ocean Road and experienced gorgeous beach landscape and the magnificent limestone rock formations, and notably, the Twelve Apostles. The landscape was intriguing because adjacent from the coastal beaches, there was a arid climate with desert plant life. It was so much fun and I'll remember the sights for the rest of my life. I found out first hand how you can get sunburned even when it is completely cloudy outside. Ridiculous. Well we have a free day tomorrow so I think we're going to go explore the nightlife in Melbourne and sleep in tomorrow. Thanks for reading! Cheers.
